The City of Tempe had built numerous, multi-use paths in various locations across the City. At 11 different locations, access to the multi-use path for use by the City street sweeper crews was hindered by the lack of continuous access from the neighboring street or alleyway. In some locations, the only access to the path was to drive over several hundred feet of dirt and rock. This surface was not optimal for the sweepers. Submitting a bid on a hard bid project, DBA was awarded the contract as the lowest responsible bidder. Our scope of work included:

Surveying
Subgrade preparation
Placement of aggregate base course (ABC)
Placement of AC paving
Construction of concrete sidewalks
Construction of concrete driveways
Demolition of existing terrain
Removal of existing signage, posts
Relocation of irrigation sleeving
Modification to landscaping
Striping and pavement markings
